October 25, 2002. My grandmother Aleksandra Sergeyevna Kandinskaya (born Smirnova) died today. May she rest in peace.
October 17, 2002. Thanks to Vladimir Danilenko much information about his branch of the Tree was added. The changes regard Antonina Khristoforovna Kandinskaya, and Maria Khristoforovna Zemlianitsyna (born Kandinskaya) and her husband Arkady Ardalyonovich Zemlianitsyn and their descendants.
August 1, 2002. Much information was corrected, completed, retranslated and updated (the Russian version was already updated on June 1, 2002).
July 23, 2002. An image of the Russian coin dedicated to Wassily Kandinsky was added.
June 24, 2002. This morning my father Boleslav Sergeyevich Kandinsky (1941-2002) died. Lord, make him repose in peace.
June 14, 2002. Thanks to Mikhail Mayorov's book «Russian Genealogical Mosaic» (M. V. Mayorov. Russkaya Rodoslovnaya Mozaika. 2002, Intrada Punlisher, Moscow. ISBN 5-87604-055-X) I managed to continue a branch which had been a deadlock one. I added information about the husband and the descendants of Vera Nikolayevna Kandinskaya. Among them are: Nikolay Alekseyevich Abrikosov, a son of the founder of a big confectionery, Khrisanf Nikolayevich Abrikosov, secretary of the writer Leon Tolstoy, Natalya Leonidovna Abrikosova (born Obolenskaya), a princess, Leo Tolstoy's grand-niece and his grandson Sergey Sergeyevich Tolstoy. Thanks to Sergey Dounin for the information about the book.
June 1, 2002. Much information about many people was added. The changes are too numerous to be all reported here.
May 16, 2002. I received a letter from Liubov Viktorovna Kovda (born Lushnikova). This letter helped me to correct information regarding her father Viktor Innokentyevich Lushnikov, and to add informartion about her mother Yulia Petrovna Lushnikova (born Larina),her husband Yevgeny Filippovich Kovda, her son Sergey Yevgenyevich Kovda and her daughter Natalia Yevgenyevna Kovda.
February 6, 2002. Several errors in the English text were corrected.
February 5, 2002. The pages The Origins of the Kandinsky Surname and About Russian Names were added.
January 28, 2002. A few errors were corrected, and now the site could be seen in such brousers as Netscape Communicator (tested with the version 4.7) and Opera (tested with the version 5.1). Enjoy.

November 16, 2001. The English version of the site was finaly launched.

September, 1999 - February, 2000. The design of the first version of the site (in Russian only) was invented. I put the whole information regarding my family's genealogy into the computer.
September, 1999. For the first time I thought about putting my family's genealogy to the net.
